Yummy sweet and sour tamarind drink is good for health during the summer. This fruit is rich in Vitamin C and Calcium. I am sure many of you have tasted tamarind cocktails in some deluxe restaurant and wish for more but .........., 'coz you want to remain steady LOL, so now this drink is for those who want to cut short their alcohol intake but still want to enjoy some soul stealing taste.Tamarind supper cooler is of your type! Tamarind lump 2 each the size of a lemon Ginger 2 inch piece Cinnamon stick 1 inch piece Black salt a dash Sugar to tatse Lime juice 1 teaspoon Lime wedge few Soda 1 bottle (optional) Boiling water 3 cups To Rim the glass Salt, pepper and honey
Take ginger, cinnamon and tamarind in your grinder and make a paste. Put the paste in a bowl along with salt and sugar and pour 3 cups of boiling water on top.Mix well. Cover and set aside to cool. Now strain with a strainer or a fine cloth.Leave the mixture to chill. Rim your glass with honey, salt and pepper. Now take some crushed ice in the glass pour mixture drop a lime wedge and lime juice then add the soda or if you don’t want carbonated drink you can simple add water . Mix a bit and your tamarind supper cooler is ready to sip.Garnish with lime wedge.
