Apple Oatmeal Dessert

In middle of January all over India we celebrate Makar Sankranti which is a major harvest festival. Mainly sweet dishes are made from new crops and they are distributed among the neighbours and dear ones and also a portion of it to the poor people. But in todays fast life it is not always possible to make eleborate recipes. Though my Mom still make those recipes which I will share with you in my blog Sutapas Indian Cuisine but when it comes to me I always go for something quick fast yet delicious and healthy so I make this apple oatmeal dessert and it comes out great. I want to share this easy sweet recipe with you all and I am sure you will like this.

Ingredients:
Oats ½ cup
Milk 2 cup
Butter / diet butter ½ tsp
Sugar 2 tbsp or to taste
Cardamom powder 2 pinch
Chopped apple ¼ cup
Fresh cream 1 tbsp(optional)
Chopped almond 2 to 3 tbsp

Procedure

Take a sucepan and boil milk then add the sugar and let it dissolve . Then add the oats and cook for 4 to 5 minutes and then add the butter and pinch of cardamom and cream ( this is not for the weight watchers). Mix well. Add chopped apples and chopped almond. Your quick apple oatmeal dessert is ready to serve and taste.

Happy Makar Sankranti And Happy Pongal to all my Indian freinds all over the world.

With this I want to thank Jay and Chandrani for giving me two lovely awards. I feel proud to have friends like you around me, to cheer me and inspire me to create lovely recipes for you all my dear friends. I love you all a lot, you all are my precious pearls.

Be Happy And Stay Healthy.
