Cornflakes With Lemony Buttermilk



Cornflakes is the most loved food today in whole world as it is easy to prepare and digest. During summer we look for something simple delicious and refreshing in our breakfast. So here comes a chilled lemony version of your regular cornflakes. I love to have my cornflakes this way in scorching summer mornings. It looks divine and taste awesome.



Cornflakes With Lemony Buttermilk

Ingredients
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 cup cornflakes
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • 1 tsp or to taste  honey/ sugar/ sugar substitute
  • 10 to 12 butter toasted cashew
  • 1 tsp pineapple jam
  • 1 tsp lemon rind
Cooking Directions
  1. Take a bowl. Mix yogurt and water to make a thick consistency liquid. You can also use thick buttermilk instead of this. Now add black salt, honey or sugar whatever you are using with lemon juice, lime juice and 1/2 tsp lemon rind. Mix well. Let it rest in your refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes. Bring out just before serving. Now add cornflakes. Top it with pineapple jam, butter toasted cashew and sprinkle rest of the lemon rind.
